Funded by The European Union and the Republic of Turkey and supported by the United Nations Development Program and with the support of T. C. Ministry Environment of Urbanisation the "Adaptation to Climate Change Grant Program" is allocated 6.800.000 Euro the total amount of funds for the projects. The deadline for pre-application has been extended to 28 December 2020.

The purpose of the grant program; To improve adaptation to climate change in Turkey and to increase the resilience of cities, ecosystems and protect natural resources and to increase the adaptive capacity of the affected economic sectors.

Non-Governmental Organizations (associations and foundation etc.), Municipalities, Local Authorities (Regional or Provincial Directorate, Special Provincial Administration, Governorship, etc.), Universities or Research Institutions/Centers, Development Agencies, Non-Profit Local Level Enterprises such as Trade Unions, Cooperatives, Chambers, Professional Organizations and Organizations Representing the Private Sector can apply to grant projects of 12 to 18 months duration.

Solar Energy is one of the important tools that should be used in adaptation to climate change. With the "Adaptation to Climate Change Grant Program", you can implement projects that aim to protect natural resources and create green cities by extending the use of Solar Energy within the framework of adaptation to climate change.
